How soon can I move my goods into my storage unit?
Depending on our availability you can move in immediately once you have completed the required paperwork and made payment. Just call us and we will arrange a time, complete the application form, arrange bond and advance payment. Then we will give you a security pass for the Brookvale or Chatswood sites or the front gate master key for the Elanora Heights site.
What if I don't need my rented storage unit anymore?
Simply contact us at least seven days prior to the date you plan to vacate.
How do I pay for my rented storage unit?
To make it easier for you to budget, our prices are based on weekly rates. You will pay once a month and this amount is calculated by breaking down the weekly rate to a day rate and multiplying this by 365 days (1 year) and dividing by 12 to give a calendar monthly dollar figure.
When you first start renting it will be similar to renting a house, ie. you pay 2 weeks bond (you receive this back when you vacate) and 1 calendar month in advance.
Your monthly storage fees are deducted automatically on the first day of each month from your bank account or credit card through Ezidebit.
What is the shortest period of time I can rent a unit for?
Our storage terms are very flexible, you can store for as little as one week.
Do I supply my own padlock?
Yes you will need to purchase your own padlock. We sell padlocks if you need to purchase one on site.
What hours can I access my storage unit?
We offer long access hours seven days a week, every day of the year. See the locations page for each location's access hours. Our Elanora Heights location offers 24 hour access.
Can you arrange contents insurance?
We recommend that you take out insurance.
If you have a home and contents insurance policy, you may already be covered whilst in storage. Check with your insurance company.
We have an affiliation with an insurance company that specialises in self storage contents insurance. Please ask for a brochure and price list.
Can you help me with transport options to move our goods into storage?
We can offer various free truck hire options if you are storing for four or more months.
Yes, we can arrange removalists for you.
